Vincenzo Pirrotta Ph.D.

Born 1942 in Palermo, Sicily. Studied physical chemistry and molecular biology at Harvard University, receiving a PhD in 1989 for work on phage repressors with Mark Ptashne. Held positions on both sides of the Atlantic, including EMBL Heidelberg, the Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Geneva. Currently professor and chair of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Rutgers University.
